Additional Productinformation

Early fire detection can be used in a variety of areas to respond to fire threats early, minimizing property damage, personal injury, and business interruption.

Here are some possible areas of application:

Residential buildings: To protect residents and property from fires that could be caused by household appliances, candles, smoking, or electrical problems.

Office buildings: To ensure employee safety and prevent data loss and property damage from fire.

Industrial facilities: Particularly important in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and factories where flammable materials and machinery pose a higher fire risk.

Critical infrastructure: Hospitals, schools, airports, train stations, and other important facilities where a fire could have catastrophic consequences.

Agricultural operations: To protect crops, livestock, and farm buildings from fire.

Server rooms and data centres: To ensure the protection of sensitive data and expensive hardware that could be destroyed by fire.

Vehicles and ships: In transportation such as buses, trains, airplanes, and ships to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.

Historic buildings and museums: To protect priceless cultural assets and historical artifacts from fire.

Large events and public places: To protect crowds at concerts, sporting events and other public gatherings.

Forests and nature reserves: For early detection of forest fires to minimize environmental and property damage and prevent the spread of fires.

In addition, this camera supports various AI functions for the thermal and optical camera modules. Please refer to our AI Matrix in the download area for further details.

DRI distance human: detection 126 m, recognition 32 m, identification 21 m

DRI distance vehicle: detection 421 m, recognition 90 m, identification 53 m

DRI stands for Detection, Recognition and Identification and is a generally accepted set of standards that attempts to measure a distance at which a thermal sensor can produce an image of a particular target. These standards were originally developed by the US Army in the 1950s. The model is based on a 50 percent probability of hitting targets under ideal conditions.
