Hanwha Vision A-Series

Hanwha Vision, the global provider of machine vision solutions, has launched an A-Series of budget-friendly cameras and network video recorders. The cameras and NVRs deliver the high-quality images and intelligent video analytics the company is known for and are perfect for budget-conscious customers.

The 14 A-Series camera models are designed for small and medium-sized retail, hospitality and commercial locations and offer a wide range of applications. The cameras are available in dome, bullet and flat-eye designs, with resolutions of 4 MP and 2 MP and are NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) compliant for trusted cyber security. All cameras are also IP66 certified for outdoor use. The A-Series also includes NVRs that enable up to 4K surveillance for an exceptional viewing experience

The A-Series cameras are designed to deliver the highest quality video recordings to increase operator awareness and improve understanding of events. The cameras support a maximum frame rate of 30 fps. Integrated IR and lens distortion corrections provide detailed images and make the operator's job easier.

Backlight compensation (using the camera's True Wide Dynamic Range) guarantees clear images in all lighting conditions. The corridor view function makes it possible to monitor narrow scenes such as long corridors and hallways with a vertical field of view that can be rotated by 90°, 180° and 270°.

With the new ANE-L7012L white light flat-eye camera, warm white light can be used as a supplement for dark scenes to prevent anti-social behavior, burglaries and thefts. The camera has built-in intelligent video analytics which includes virtual areas, virtual lines and motion detection. When a person crosses a virtual line or enters a virtual area, light can be automatically switched on as a visual warning or to illuminate dark areas.

The A-Series is equipped with intelligent video analytics to increase situational awareness and alert operators to abnormal activity while reducing false alarms. Analytical zones, such as areas within a storage room or parking lot, can be set to trigger alarms. The cameras are able to accurately detect objects entering or leaving a specific area. Operators are thus alerted to all events at a location in real time, allowing them to respond proactively and quickly to security concerns. Bookmark searching is also supported by video analytics, allowing operators to quickly find relevant footage for post-event investigations.

Another benefit is that alerts can be forwarded for possible camera tampering or if a camera suddenly loses focus. This ensures that the cameras run continuously and provide operators with clear footage.

The A-Series cameras are NDAA compliant, which is an indicator of strong cyber security and responsible design. They can be used in US federal agencies. In Europe, many companies follow the NDAA standard to realize trustworthy cybersecurity and design in their security systems.

The A-Series cameras are complemented by a range of high-quality, budget-friendly NVRs that give operators a complete overview of complex scenes. The 4, 8 and 16-channel A-Series NVRs support camera resolutions up to 4K and offer operators a range of options for accessing footage. Examples include the use of P2P connections, which can be quickly set up via a QR code, or via the Wisenet Viewer for easy monitoring on Windows or Mac PCs and via the Wisenet Mobile App for remote monitoring. Operators can also monitor or review all events at a site in real time from any location.
